A safety-critical environment such as an airport requires the highest standard of both sweeper and operator. UBU Environmental Ltd is able to deliver state of the art Road Sweepers as well as fully qualified operators who are expertly equipped to deal with any airport cleaning requirements you may have. 

Our AIRPORT SPEC Road Sweepers are individually ‘CAP’ tested to ensure they conform to Airport safety requirements. This Airport specific ‘Cap Test’ allows our vehicles access to sweep all areas within the Airport. Be it Airside or Landside, we can clean airport roads, taxiways, runways, car parks and baggage processing zones, removing stains and any debris.

Our Airport inducted Road Sweeper operatives have successfully completed their specific Airport Safety Training in addition to being CSCS certified. All of our operatives working ‘Airside’ have secured a Basic Disclosure accreditation and have completed an online G-Sat competence exam before they can be issued with an Airport Pass.

Here at UBU Environmental Ltd, taking responsibility for the sustainability of our processes is extremely important. That is why we divert all our road sweeping waste from landfill, using our innovative waste treatment plant.

I have been aware of UBU environmental services for over 15 years now whilst I have worked at Manchester Airport. In this time I have worked for 2 principal contractors providing construction services within the maintenance framework of the Airport business.
